HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 00-21 RESOLUTION NO.. 00-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA DESIGNATION THE LOCATION OF CERTAIN ALL-WAY CONTROL INTERSECTIONS 5 WHEREAS, Section 5323 of the Tustin City Code provides for the designation of stop intersections by resolution of the City Council upon the marking of certain findings; and 7 WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the placement of S stop signs at the intersection listed below is necessary to facilitate the flow' of traffic and 9 provide for the assignment of vehicular right-of-way; and i O WHEREAS, said findings are made subsequent To receipt of a traffic engineering report summarizing traffic survey data realistic to said intersections; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Tustin that the intersection set forth below is hereby designated as an all-way stop intersection and the 2,3 City Engineer is hereby directed to place and maintain stop signs at one or more entrances to said intersection as herein specified, and that Resolution 00-21 shall take ! 4 effect upon placement of said signs. ! 5 INTERSECTI'ON Myrtle Avenue and Second Street ID PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 3rd day of April 2000.
