A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUST'IN ORDERING PARALLEL PARKING ON MAIN
MAIN STREET BETWEEN PROSPECT, OR "E" STREET
AND "C"' STREET.
WHEREAS, the Depamtme. n~. of' Public Works of the State
of Qalifornia has, at the requests of the City of' TUstin and
othe~ community organizations, installed electric traffic con-
trol signals at the intersection of Main and "D" Streets in the
City of Tustin; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Public Works has
directed and declared that it is necessary to establish parallel
parking for one block in either direction from said signals on
Main Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED' JhND' 'ORDERED':
That parking on Main Street between Prospect., o~ "E"
..
Street, an~ "'C" 'Street be required to be parallel to the curb in
the manner prescribed by law;-that effective 'the date of this
Resolution diagonaI parking .shall be discontinued and 'the Super-
intendent of Streets is hereby ordered to post the necessary Signs
and mark the streets for pamallel parking, in accordance with the
provisions of law applicable.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Tustin, California, this 17th day of April, 1950.
