A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDERS IN THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUC- TION OF CITY HALL BETWEEN THE CITY OF TUSTIN AND SHERMAN E. SALTER, CONTRACTOR ,WHEREAS, Sherman E. Salter is constructing a City Hall for the City of Tustin under the terms of an agreement for construction of city hall dated October 19, 19~9; and WHEREAS, .it is deemed necessary that certain change orders be made in the plans and specifications of the aforesaid work: .- , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVED that change o~ders numbered 12 through 17 are authorized to be ordered made-.effec- tive by supplemental agreement between the City of Tustin and Sherman E. Salter, Contractor, and Mayor vincent L. Humeston, be and hereby is authorized to.. exe'cute .said agreement On behalf of the City of Tustin. Said change orders specified~ by the Architect Roland L. Russell are attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. PASSED AND. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City .j of ~ustin at a ~'egular meeting held on the 21st day of November, 1949 Mayor 12. All concrete blocks indicated on the drawings specifications shall be precision-type concrete blocks. There shall be no extra charge for this item. 13. Run a 4" sewer line of orangeburge pipe from the point where the house sewer line comes through the east wall of the new addition, northward along the wall to the corner of the'building and then westward , conn- ecting it to the existing cesspool. This item will be an extra. 14. Run a 1~" copper water main from the meter to the two hose bibs indicated on the plan. All branch · lines under the slab shall be copper also. The existing ~eter shall not be changed. The extra charge for this item shall be $105.07. 15. Steel Windows -- All steel windows indicated by No. 2 on the drawings shall be Truscon No. 22~ in- ste.ad of No. 225 R. All steel windows indicated by No ~ on the drawings shall be Truscon No. 211, 3'-~ 7/8 ~ l' - 5", with fixed glass panelsin metal frames set be- tween the pairs of such windows to increase the overall window opening to that indicated on the plans for two ~' - 0 7/8" x l' x %" windows. There shall be no extra charge fo~ this. 'item. 16. Clock outlets-- The convenience outlets shown on the north wall of the Council Chamber and on the north wall of.'the Library shall be changed to clock outlets and placed 8'-6" above the floor. There shall be no extra charge for this item. l?. Install a duplex convenience outlet behind the refrigerator in the Kitchen of the existing building, as well as three such outlets in the Firemen' s Quarters as directed by the Architect. There shall be an extra change for. this item. SALTER, CONTRACTOR WHEREAS, Sherman E. Salter is constructing a city hall for the City of Tustin under the terms of an agreement for construction of city hall dated October 19, 1949; and WH~..REAS, it is deemed necessary that certain change orders be made in the plans and specifications of the aforesaid work: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that change orders numbered 12 through 17 are authorized to be ordered made effective by supplemental agreement between the City of Tustin and Sherman E. Salter, Contractor, and Mayor Vincent L. Humeston, be and hereby is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Tustin. Said change orders specified by the Architect Roland L. Russell are attached hereto marked Exhibit aAa and made a part hereof. There shall be no extra charge for this item. 16.
