HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 235 RESOLUTION NO. 235 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDERS TO THE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUC- TION OF ALTERATIONS AND ADDITION FOR TUSTIN CITY HALL, TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin has accepted the low bid of Sherman E. Salter in the amount of $19,628.57 for the construction of alterations and addition for Tustin City Hall, dated September 12, 1949; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin de- sires to effect said changes in the Plans and Specifications for the work authorized: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Tustin, Vincent L. Humeston, be and hereby is authorized to enter into a supplemental agreement with Sherman E. Salter in accordance with Article 15 of "The General Conditions of the Contract for the Construction of Buildings," the same being a part of that certain "Agreement for Construction of City Hall," which change order shall reduce the contract price in the sum of $4,687.66, or more, after first being specified by the Ar- chitect. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of October, 1949. ATTEST - City Cl ~ '~ Mayor
