RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN ORDERING THE ABANDON-
MENT AND VACATION OF A STREET WITHIN
THE CITY OF TUSTIN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin held
a public hearing on October 3, I949, at the hour of 8:00 P. M.,
pursuant to i'ts resolution of intention to abandon and vacate a
certain street wi thin the City of Tustin; and
WHEREAS, no one appeared in Opposition to the closing
of said street; and
WHEREAS, there appears to be good reason to close the
street hereinafter described as a safety measure for school chil-
dren and to permit necessary expansion of the Tustin Elementary
School, and that the public benefit and need does not require
that said street be kept open:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED,
by the City Council of the City of Tustin that the following described
street, to-wit:
Third Street between the West line of "C" Street
and the East line of "B" Street in the City of
Tustin, which said street is shown on Tusttn City
Map No. 4 on file in the Office of the City Clerk
of the City of Tustin
located within the city limits of the City of Tustin, be, and
hereby is, ordered abandoned and vacated to the public use.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Tustin, at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1949

the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of
the City of Tustin is five; that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by a majority of the said City Council at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of October, 1949,
by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Humeston, Gray, Miller, Bacon.
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilman: Charleton.

is, ordered abandoned and vacated to the public use.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Tustin, at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1949.
