HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 230RESOLUTION NO. 230 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OITY OF TUSTIN OF INTENTION TO ABANDON AND VACATE A STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN. WHEREAS, the School Board governing the Tustin Elem- enta~y School District has requested the City Council of the City of Tustin to vacate, abandon and close to the public use the following described street, to-wit: Third Street between the West line of "C" Street and the East line of "B" Street in the City of Tustin, which said street is shown on Tustin City Map No. 4 on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Tusttn; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the best interests of the public and the safety of the school children requires that the street above referred to be closed to public use, abandoned and vacated by the city, and that said street is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin to abandon the above described street in the City of Tustin, and that on the 3rd day of October 1949, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. the .said City Council will hold a public hearing in the City Hall of the City of Tustin for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in or ob- jecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment, and after said hearing to make its order according to its findings from all the evidence submitted, whether or not the said street is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of September, 1949.
