HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 185RESOLUTION NO. 185 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR ACCUMULATION OF THE 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be entered into with the State of California for accumulation of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year 1947 allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways in the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement in full and is familiar with the contents there- of, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of Tustin that, under the provisions of Section 200 of the Streets and Highways Code, the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major importance other thah State highways be accumulated for future expenditure, and that said agreement be and the same is hereby approved, and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said city, said agreement to be binding upon the city its execution by the authorized officials of the State. ADOPTED this 21 day of October, 1946.
