SUPERVISORS OF ORANGE COUNTY TO EXPAND
FACILITIES IN ORANGE COUNTY TO AID WAR
VETERANS IN SECURING BENEFITS TO WHICH
THEY ARE ENTITLED
~VHEREAS, it has come to our attention that a great many
discharged Veterans of the present war have returned to this
county in addition to the many surviving Veterans of World
~,'~ a~' I,
and, with the ending of hostilities in Europe the number will
undoubtedly be vas~tly increased.

m~ny benefits for such returned Veterans; benefits which, in
many cases, are provided in laws so worded as to be difficult' of
interpretation by 6he untrained layman.
AND ~HEREAS, the interpretation and administration o£ such
bene£its and the task o£ advising and assisting these Veterans
will be far greater than the present Veterans Office in the
County can possible handle.

citizens that these men, who have given, so much to their country,
be assisted in every way to reestablish themselves in civilian
life among us.

City of Tustin advocate to the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange th~,t they immediately study the situation and
take necessary steps'~to'set up an adequa.te Off'ice or expand the

courteous service in this County without having to call at the
several and incomplete agencies of the Federal Government which,
from their nature, can only result in a confusion and loss of
vital records.
