A RESOLUTION APPOINTING I. J. HARPER AS CITY TREASURER TO
FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF WALTER POLLARD.
WHEREAS, the office of City Treasurer of the City of Tustin
is vacant, as of July 1, 1944;
AND WHEREAS it appears that I. J. Harper has been a resident
of the City of Tustin for the time required by law and is otherwise
qualified to serve as City Treasurer of the City of Tustin;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That I. J. Harper be and he is hereby appointed City treasurer
of the City of Tustin, beginning as of July l, 1944, to fill such
vacancy, and he shall hold such office until the next regular
election, according to law, and shall be paid a salary therefor of
the sum of $5.00 per month.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Tustin,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of June, 1944.

I, Chas. E. Morris, City Clerk of the City of Tustin doe
hereby certify that the Whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that the foregoing resolution was
passed and adopted by a majority of the said City Council at a reg-
ular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of June, 1944 by the
