A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
APPOINTING A CITY ATTORNEY AND
FIXING THE CONPENSATION OF SAID
CITY ATTORNEY, AND APPOINTING
GEORGE. E. BRADLEY
AS SAID CITY ATTORNEY DURING THE
PLEASURE OF SAID CITY COUNCIL.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
do resolve as follows;
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin requires the services
of a City Attorney to advise the City Council and other City
officials on legal matters and to represent the City of Tustin
in litigation and other legal proceedings, and to perform the
duties usually required of a City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, GEORGE E. BRADLEY, appears to this City Council
to be an attorney duly admitted to practice in all of the courts
of the State of 0alifornia and to be qualified for this position,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the said GEORGE E.
BRADLEY be, and he is, hereby appointed to the office of City
Attorney of the City of Tustin, during the pleasure of the
City Council. The AMount of coMensation to be paid by the City
of Tustin to said City Attorney shall be, until further order of
the City Council, the sum of Sixty ($60.00) Dollars per month;
provided, however, that for any services rendered, in connection
with any bond issue, street improvement proceeding, or Superior
Court action, additional compensation shall be allowed and paid
to said City Attorney, the amount thereof to be agreed upon and
fixed at the time of the rendition of such services. Said City
Attorney shall assume the duties of said office immediately
upon the passage of this Resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1942.
at a regularly adjourned meeting of said City Council.
