A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING
STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE OTHER THAN
STATE HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOCATION THERETO,
AND EXPENDITURE THEREON, OF THE NET PRO-
CEEDS OF ONE-QUARTER CENT PER GALLON TAX
ON MOTOR VEHICLE FUEL PURSUANT TO SEC-
TIONS 194 and 195 OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, under the terms and provisions of Sections 194
and 195 of the Streets and Nighways Code of the State of Calif-
ornia, it is incumbent upon the City Council of the City of
Tustin to request the Department of Public Works, Division of
Highways, of the State of California, to determine and desig-
nate streets of major importance, other than State Highways,
for the purpose of allocation thereto and expenditure thereon
of the one-quarter cent per gallon tax on motor vehicle fuel
to be paid to the City of Tustin, for use upon streets of major
importance other than State Highways within the City of Tustin,
under the provisions of said Sections 194 and 195 of the Streets
and Highways Code of California.
NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Tustin
do hereby request the Department of Public Works, Division of
Highways, of the State of California,. to determine, select and
designate, as streets of major importance, other than State
Highway's within the City of Tustin, upon which shall be used
the net proceeds of one-quarter cent per gallon gas tax on
motor vehicle fuel to be paid to the City of Tustin under the
provisions of Sections 194 and 195 of the Streets and Highways
code of the State of Clifornia, the following designated streets
as shown upon the Official Street Map of the City of Tustin adop-
ted February 17, 1936, to-wit:
1. B Street from the southerly limits of First Street to
the southerly City limits of the City of Tustin, being O.51
miles in length.
2. D Street from the southerly line of Laguna Avenue
south to the southerly boundary line of the City of Tustin,
being O.14 miles in length.
THIS RESOLUTION shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and approval
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st day of July,
1940.

ornia, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, being
Resolution No. 100 was passed and adopted by said City Council
of the City of Tustin, at a regular meeting held on the
first day of July, 1940, and the same was adopted by the
following vote, to-wit:
