A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF
CONTRACT TO SHAW INDUSTRIES, INC., DBA SHAW
STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS USING THE CALIFORNIA
MULTIPLE AWARD SCHEDULE (CMAS) BID PROCESS
UNDER THE GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City has need to purchase and install various material, supplies
and equipment in order to conduct the operations of the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 1624, Item C of the Tustin Municipal Code authorized the
state of California to purchase materials, supplies and equipment if it can be acquired
more cheaply or efficiently by the State;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Tustin, California does hereby authorize the award of contract to Shaw Industries, Inc.,
dba Shaw Strategic Solutions Group for carpet purchasing, removal and installation at
TASC using the California Municipal Award Schedule (CMAS) bid process under the
Procurement Division, Department of General Services of the State of California and
authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign and deliver all necessary requests and
contract documents for and on behalf of the City of Tustin.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council on the
5th day of May 2009.

I, Pamela Stoker, City Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of the City of Tustin,
California, do hereby certify that the whole number of the members of the City Council of
the City of Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing Resolution No. 09-21 was duly
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council, held on the 5th day of
