PUBLIC MEETING:
1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 09-008 - a request to establish an
educational/tutoring facility at a tenant suite in an existing commercial building.

That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 09-002
approving Conditional Use Permit 09-008.
Presentation: Edmelynne Huffer, Associate Planner
The Acting Zoning Administrator explained that the meeting would be brief; and, asked
the attendees to introduce themselves.
Dave Vela, the applicant; and Kurt Miller, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing, The
Tutoring Center, were in attendance.
The Public Hearing opened at 10:34 a.m.

The Acting Zoning Administrator asked if the applicant had received and reviewed the
staff report and recommended conditions of approval.
Mr. Vela answered in the affirmative.
The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the report; and, asked if either of the attendees
had any questions or concerns.
Mr. Vela mentioned that there had been discussion with the Associate Planner regarding
the possibility of a second classroom; and, explained that the plan is to stick with three
instructors for six students and that an additional classroom would not be necessary.
The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action 09-002
approving Conditional Use Permit 09-008.
