A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING STREETS OF
MAJOR IMPORTANCE OTHER THAN STATE HIGHWAYS
WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ALLOCATION THERETO, AND EXPENDITURE THEREON,
OF THE NET PROCEEDS OF ONE-QUARTER CENT PER GALLON
TAX ON MOTOR VEHICLE FUEL PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
194 AND 195 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
VfHEREAS, under the terms and provisions of Sections
195 and 195 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, .it is incumbent upon the City Council of the
City of Tustin to determine and designate streets of major
importance, other than State Highways, for the purpose of
allocation thereto and expenditure thereon of the one-quar-
ter cent per gallon tax on motor vehicle fuel to be paid to
the City of Tustin, for use upon streets of major importance
other than State Highways within the City of Tustin, under
the provisions of said Sections 194 and 195 of the Streets
and Highways Code of California;
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Tustin do hereby determine, select and designate,
as streets of major importance, other than State Highways
within the City of Tustin, upon which whall be used the net
proceeds of one-quarter oent per gallon gas tax on motor
vehicle fuel to be paid to the City Of Tustin under the pro-
visions of Sections 195 and 195 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, the following designated
streets as shown upon the Official Street Map of the City of
Tustin in adopted Frbruary 1, 1936, to-wit:
1. Main Street fro m the easterly City limits
to the westerly City limits, being 0.70 miles in length.
2. East First Street from the easterly City limits
to U. S. Highway 101, being 0.062 miles in length.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and approval.

California, do hereby cerfify that the foregoing Resolution,
being Resolution No. 55, was passed and adopted by said City
Council of the City of Tustin, at a regular meeting held on
the 17th day of February, 1936, and the same was adopted by
the following vote to-wit:

ifornia, it is incumbent upon the City Council of the City of
Tustin to determine and desig:~ate streets of major importance,
other than State Highways, for the purpose of allocation thereto
and expenditure thereon of the one-quarter cent per gallon tax
on motor vehicle fuel to be paid to the City of Tustin, for use

the City of Tustin, under the provisions of said Sections 194
and 195 of the Streets and Highways Code of California;
NO'J4, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Tustin do hereby determine, select and designate, as streets of
major importance, other thar_ State Highways within tr.e City of
Tustin, upon which shall be used the net proceeds of one-quarter
cent per gallon ,was tax on motor vehicle fuel to be paid to the
City of Tustin under the provisions of Sections 194 a.nd 195 of
the Stxeets and Highways Code of the State of California, the
following designated streets as shoMn upon the Official Street
?~uap of the City of Tustin adopted February 17, 1936, to-r^i t:
1. ISain Street from the easterly City lirnits to the
westerly City limits, being 0.70 miles in length.
