RESOLUTION NO. 47
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
RESULT OF ELECTION.
WHEREA~, a general municipal election was held and cgn-
duoted in the Oily of Tustin, on Monday, the 9th day of April,
1934, as required by law,
AND WHERgAS, it appear~ that notioe ~f eaid eleot£on
was duly and legally given, that voting precincts were properly
established, that election' officers were appointed and. election
supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election was
held and oonduoted, and ~he votee east thereat reoeived and
vassed, ~nd the return~ thereof made and declared in time, fern
&nd manner as required by the general law~ of the ~tate governing
' elections..in o£tt..e~, of the ~ixth olas~,
~'~ AND WHEREAS, the City Council of Bald Oity of :~'uettn
~" met at the City Oouncil Chamber of the City of Tustin, on Monday,

which the said Oity Council finds that the number of votes cast,
tho names of the persons voted for, and other matters required by

That said general municipal election was held and con-
ducted tn the Olty of Tuft in, on ~onday, the 9th day of April,
1934, in time, fern and manner as r~qutred bY law;
That there wa8 one voting precino~ e~tabliehed for the
purpose of holding said elect ion, consi, sting of a consolidation

County precincts Numbers Tustin Oity No. 1, and Tustin City No'. 2.
That the whole number of votes cast in said election

That the names of the persons voted for, the"0ffices
for which they were voted, the number of votes given in each
precinct to each person, together with' the whole number of votes
which they received in the entire City Election are as follows':

ducted in the City of Tustin, on Monday, the 9th day of April, ~I

the names of the persons voted for, and other matters required by
law, to be as hereinaf ter stated, now therefore

That said general municipal election was held and con-
ducted in the City of Tustin, on L~onday, the 9th day of April,
1934, in time, form and manner as required by law;
That there was one voting precinct established for the
purpose of holding said election, consisting of a consolidation
of the regular election precincts established for holding general
state and county elections as follows:

That Chas. F. Logan, Fred L. Schwendeman and Edward L.
Kiser received the highest votes for the three positions to be
filled on the City Council, for the full term of four years, and
that they should be, and are hereby declared elected to the City
Council of the City of Tustin for the full term of four years.

That Jay R. Harbour received the highest number of votes
cast for the office of City Clerk, and therefore should be, and
is hereby declared elected to the office of City Clerk for the
short or unexpired term of two years.
RESOLVED, therefore, that at said General Municipal
Election, Chas. F. Logan was elected to the office of City ~~
Councilman of the City of Tustin for the full term of four years;
ALSO, that Fred L. Schwendeman was elected to the office
of City Councilman of the City of Tustin for the full term of
four years;
ALSO, that Edward L. Kiser was elected to the office of

City Councilman of the City of Tustin for the full term of four

ALSO, that Jay R. Harbour was elected to the office of

City Clerk of the City of Tustin for the short or unexpired tern,

of two years. ~
THIS RESOLUTION TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY.
