RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CALLING SPECIAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTON FOR JULY 26, 1933, FOR
THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORS
OF SUCH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION THE QUESTION
WHETHER SUCH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION SHALL
DISINCORPORATE, CONSOLIDATING VOTING PRE-
CINCINCTS AND DESIGNATING ELECTION OFFICERS
FOR SAID ELECTION.
WHEREA~, at. the regular meeting of said City Council
held on the ,Sth dscr. of June, 101313, there was presented to the
City Oouncil a petit.ion for disincorporatlon of such municipal

Tustin, to. have been properly signed by more than one-half of
the qualifted.electo~.s thereof, as shown by the vote cast at the
last municipal election held therein:
AND ~HERF~$, it is provided by Act Number 5251 of
General. Laws of the State of. California. that the City Council
shall, upon receiving such a petition dul~r certified by the
Olerk, as aforesaid, submit to the electors of such corporation
the quest~ion whether such municipal corporation shall disincorpor-

That a special municipal election be hald in the City
of Tust.in on ~ednesday, the 26~h day of July, 19~J, for the pur,

the question of whether such municipal corporation shall disin-
corporate;
That .... such election be hald in accordance with the

G..nerai .Et-eot ion .Laws of the 3tate of Californi&7 in so f:ar as
the-same shall-have been made. applicable to municipalities of
.the sixth class;
~hat at said elect~on there shall be submitted to ~he
qualified electors ef the Ct~ty of Tustin the question ef disin-
cerperating said corporation, and said qualified electors shall
be invited, by notice duly published by the City Clerk, to vote
upon such proposition by' placing upon their ballots the cross
as provided by law,. after the words "~or Disincorporation", or
"Against Disincorporation";
That for the purpose of said election the two regular
election precincts in said City, to-wit; Tustin 01ty Number~1,
and Tustin City Number 2, shall ~e consolidated and .known as,
"Oonsol£dated Voting Precinct A" which comprises the whole of

the City of Tustin, and the polling place thereof shall be in

the City Hall, in the K, P. Building on Main Street, in. said
C i~y of Tust in;
That the polls shall be and remain open between the. hours
of 6 o'Clock A. M. and 7 o'ClOck P, M. of said day;
That the following persons, residents and qualified
electors in the said City of Tustin, are hereby designated and'
appointed to act as Election 0£ficials at said special election;

Alice Pannell
Clerk:
Clerk-
Hazel E. Harbour
D. T. Hayden
And the salaries of said Election O~..ficials, for the
purpose of said election, is hereby fixed as follows:
Inspector, $6.00 per day; Judge ~4.00 per day; ~nd Clerks,
$4. O0 per day each.;.
That the Oity Ol~rk of the City of Tustin be, and he

is hereby directed and required to give notice of said special
election in accordance herewith, and in accordance with the
Gen~eral Laws of the State of California, and such other notices

accordance with the election laws of the 3tare of California
as they are made to apply to municipalities of the sixth class.
This Resolution shall take. effect immediately.

THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORS

CINCTS, AND DESIGNATING ELECTION OFFICERS
FOR SAID ELECTION.
!4HEREAS, a.t the regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 5th day of June, 1933, there wa.s presented to the
City Council a. petition for disincorpora.tion of such municipal
corporation, duly certified by the City Clerk of the City of
Tustin, to have been properly signed by more than one-half of
the pualified electors thereof, as shown by the vote cast at the
last municipal election held therein;
AND WHEREAS, it is provided by Act Number 5231 of
General Laws of the State of California, that the City Council
shall, upon receiving such a petition duly certified by the
Clerk, as aforesaid, submit to the electors of such corporation
the auestion whether such municipal corporation sha21 disincor-
porate; THEREFORE,
B E I T RESOLVED
That a special municipal election be held in the City
of Tustin on Wednesday, the 26th day of July, 1933, for the nur-
pose of submitting to the electors of such municipal corporation
the auestion of whether such municipal corporation shall disin-
corr~orate;
That such election be held in accordance with the
~~ General Election Laws of the State ~f California, in so far as
the same shall have been mP.de applicable to municipalities of
the sixth class;

That at said election there shall be submitted to the
qualified electors of the City of Tustin the question of disin-
corporating said corporation, P.nd said qualified electors shall
be invited, by notice duly published by the City Clerk, to vote
upon such proposition by ~lacinx upon their ballots the cross
as provided by law, after the words "For Disincornoration", or
"Against Disincornoration";
That for the vuruose of said election the two regular
election precincts in said City, to-c~it; Tustin City Number 1,
and Tustin City Number 2, shall be consolidated and known as
"Consolidated Voting Precinct A", which comprises the whole of
the City of Tustin, and the polling place thereof shall be in
the City Ha_11, in the K. P. Building on Main Street, in said
City of Tustin;
That the rolls shall be and remain oven betweer_ the
hours of 6 o~clock A. M. and 7 o'clock P. I~. of said da.y;
That the folloring persons, residents and cualified
electors in the said City of Tustin, a.re hereby designated and
appointed to act a.s Election Officials at said special election:
Inspector: John Kiser
Judge: Alice Pannell
Clerk: Hazel E. Harbour
Clerk: D. T. Hayden
And the salaries of said Election Officials, for the
purpose of said election, is hereby fixed as follows:
Inspector, ~j.00 per da.y; Judge X4.00 per day; and Clerks,
X4.00 per day each;
That the City Clerk of the City of Tustin be, a,nd he
is hereby directed and. reouired to give notice of said special
election in a.ccorda.nce herewith, and in accordance with the
General Laws of the State of CPlifornia, anti such other notices

accordance with the election laws of the State of California,
as they are made to avply to municipalities of the sixth class.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
