The City Council of the City of Tustin resolves as follows: ' SECTION 1, ~ur~uant to the provisions, of an Act of the Legislature of the Sta.te of Oali£ornia, entit'led, "An A~t Author- izing Municipalities to Declare Noxious or Dangerous Weeds Growing upon the ~treets or Sidewalks or Private ~roperty within Muni- cipalities to be a Pub. lie Nuisance, Creating a Lien upon the Property fronting upon such 3treets or Sidewalks or upon which such .Nuisance Exists' for the cost of abating the ~ame"', approved May 26, 1915, and amendments thereto, the Oit,20ouncil of the City of Tustin having acquired Jurisdiction so to do, hereby orders the Street Superintendent of said Otty to abate the public. nuisance heretofore declared to exist in said City of Tustln, .to;wit: ~eeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and attain such a large growth as to become a fire ,menace when dry and which are noxious and dangerous, growing upon the streets or sidewalks in £ront of or upon private p~operty described as follows, to-wit: .. .DESCRI~TION OF ~ROp£RTI~s AND ~TRE~TS. Any property owner shall have the right to have a.ny of said weeds removed at his o~r;n expense, providing the same is done prior to the arrival of the Street Sunerintend- ent or his representatives to do the same. SECTION 3. The Street Superintendent shall keen an account of the cost of abating said. nuisance in front of or on each separate lot or psrcel of land where ti:e work is done by him or his deputies, and shall render an itemized report, in writing, to the City.-,Council of the City of Tustin shoacing the cost of removin~* such weed: on each separate lot, or in front thereof, or both providdd, that before said report is submitted to sFid City Council, a copy of the same shall be Hosted for at least three days prior thereto, on or near the Chamber Door of said City Council, together with a notice of the time ~rhen said report shall be submitted to the City Council for confirmation. At the time fixed for 'Deceiving and considering said report, the City Council shall hear the same, together :~~ith any objections which may be raised by any of the property o~^~ners liable to be assessed for the work of abating said nuisance and thereupon make such modifications in the report as t'r.ey deem necessary, after which sai~~~ report shall be confirmed.
