A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIOA, DECLARING RESULT OF
ELECTION

April, 1932, as required by law,

was duly and legally given, that voting precincts were
properly established, that election officers were appointed
and election supplies furnished, and that in all respects said
election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat
received and canvassed, and the returns thereof, mande an8
d~clared in time, form and manner as required by the genera_[
laws of the State governing elections in cities of the sixth

'2hat said general municipal election was held and con-
ducted in the City of 'Justin, on-~ionday, the llth day of April,
1932, in time, form and manner as required by law;
there was one voting precenct established for the
purpose o±~ holding said election, consisting of a consolidation
of 'the regular election precincts established for holding g-ene~

Council, for the full. term of four years, and that they sh~uld
be, and are hereby declared elected, to the City Council o£ the

votes cast for 'the office of City Clerk, and therefore should
be and .is hereby declared elected to the office of City Clerk
for the full term of )~our years.
~2hat ~ff. J. Pollard received the highest vote for the
office of City Treasurer, and should be, and is hereby declared
elected to the office of City ~ilreasurer for the City of Tustin
for the full term of four years.

ALSO, that John P. Pieper was elected to the office of

ALSO, that Philip C. Brooks was elec~ed to the office

A RE80LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING RESULT OF
ELECTION.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held and
conducted in the City of Tustin, on Monday, the 11th day of
April, 1932, as required by la.w,
AND WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election
was duly and legally given, that voting precincts were properly
established, that election officers were appointed anti election
supplies furnished, a.nd that in all respects said election was
held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and can-
vassed, and the returns thereof, made and declared in time, form
a.nd manner as required by the general laws of the State governing
elections in cities of the sixth class.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Tustin
metatgg the City Council Chamber of the City of Tustin on Monday,
the ~Yth dap of April, 1932, to canvass the returns of said
election a.nd install the newly elected officers, a.s a result of
which the said City Council finds that the number of votes cast,
the names of the persons voted for, and other matters required
by law, to be as hereinafter stated, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED As follows:
That said general municipal election was held and con-
ducted in the City of Tustin, on Monday, the 11th day of April,
1932, in time, form and manner as required by law;
That there was one voting precinct established for the
purpose of.holding said election, consisting of a. consolidation
of the regular election precincts established for holding general
state and county elections as follows:

That Philip C. Brooks received the highest number of
votes cast for the office of City Clerk, and therefore should be,
and is hereby declared elected to the office of City Clerk for
the full term of four years.
That S~. J. Pollard received the highest vote for the
office of City Treasurer, and should be, a.nd is hereby declared
elected to the office of City Treasurer for the City of Tustin
for the full term of four years.
RESOLVED, therefore, that at said General Municina.l
Election, gym. P~. Huntley was elected to the office of Trustee
and City Councilman of the City of Tustin for the full term of
four years;
ALSO, that John F. Pieper was elected to the office of
Trustee a.nd City Councilman of the City of Tustin for the full
term of four years;
ALSO, that Philip C. Brooks was elected to the office
of City Clerk of the City of Tustin for the full term of four
years;
ALSO, that W. J. Pollard wa.s elected to the office of
City Treasurer of the City of Tustin for the full term of four
years.
THIS RESOLUTION TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY.
Passed, approved and adopted this 1Sth da.y of April,
1932.
