A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 3 AND
SECTION 6 OF RESOLUTON NUMBER 15 OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN.
WHEREAS, to better express the true intent of the City
Council and Board of Trustees in passing and adopting Resolution
No. 15 of the City of Tustin, it appears necessary and desirable
and for the best interests of said City, that Section 3 and
Section 6 of said Resolution No. 15 should be amended in certain
particulars, Now Therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the first paragraph of the form of
bond set out in said section 3, said paragraph being on page 3,
lines 8 to 18 of of said Resolution No. 15, be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"For value received, the City of Tustin, a municipal
corporation organized and existing under the constitution and
laws of the State of California, hereby acknowledges itself
indebted and promises to pay to the bearer hereof on the 1st day
July, 193l, $1000.00 with interest thereon at the rate of
five (5) percent per annun, payable semiannually on the 1st
days of January and July of each year, on presentation and
surrender of the coupons hereto attached as they respectively
become due; both principal and interest being payable in lawful
money of the united States of America at the office of the
Treasurer of a said City.
In all other respects said section 3 of Resolution No. 15 6o
remain and be in full force and effect.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT Section 6 of said Resolution
No. 15 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 6. There is hereby created and established a fund
to be known as the "Municipal Improvement Bonds of 1930 Fund",
which shall be kept by the Treasurer of said City; and all
proceeds of sale of any of said bonds shall be placed by the
Treasurer to the credit of said fund, and shall be applied
exclusively to the acquisition, construction and completion
of the aforesaid municipal imnprovements.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and
after its passage and approval.
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by a vote of 20 members of the City Council of the said
City of Tustin, State of California, this 14th day of July, 1930.
