RESOLUTION NO. 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF TUS-
TIN, CALIFORNIA, CREATING THE OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY, AND FIXING
THE COMPENSATION OF SUCH CITY ATTORNEY, AND APPOINTING MORRIS
A. CAIN, AS CITY ATTORNEY, DURING THE PLEASURE OF THE COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the City of Tustin requires the services of a
City Attorney, to advise the members of the City Council and other
City Officials on Legal Matters, and to perform the duties usually
required of a City Attorney, and whereas, Morris A. Cain, Attorney,
resident of this City, has applied for the office of City At-
torney, and appears to this Board to be qualified for said position,
now therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED:
That the said Morris A. Cain, be, and he is hereby appointed
to the office of City Attorney of the City of Tustin, during the
pleasure of this Council.
The amount of oompensation paid by the City to said City At-
torney will be, until further notice, $60.00 per month; except
that for any services rendered in connection with any bond issue,

street improvement proceeding, or Superior Court action, additional
compensation shall be allowed and paid, the amount thereof, to be
agreed upon at the time.
Said City Attorney to assume the duties of said office im-
mediately upon the passage of this resolution.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
Passed, approved and adopted this 7th day of November, 1927.

I, J. R. Harbour, City Clerk of the City of Tustin, Calif-
ornia, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the
Board of Trustees of the City of Tustin is five; and that the
foregoing resolution being resolution No. 2, was duly passed,
approved, and adopted by said Board, approved and signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk all at a regular meeting of
the said Board held on the 7th day of November, 1927, and that the
same was passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Gouncilmen: Hunt ley, Schwendeman, Logan and Kiser.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen; None.
