3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, REVISING PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ON
4 CERTAIN STREETS.

1. It is hereby determined that the speed permitted by State law as
7 applicable upon the following streets is other than is reasonable and it is
hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth
8 on those. streets, or parts of streets, herein designated when signs have been
erected gi vi ng notice thereof.

2. The prima facie speed limit for vehicular traffic on the following
10 streets, or portions of streets, is hereby established as hereinafter set
forth, effective when signs have been erected giving notice thereof.

3. Provided, further, however, that in any instance where the prima
12 facie speed limit as fixed by the vehicle code of the State of California is
less than the prima facie speed limit hereby determined and fixed, then the
13 prima facie speed limit which is provided in the Vehicle Code shall be
appl i cable.

4. The streets, or portion of streets within the Tustin City limits,
15 affected and the declared prima facie speed limit shall be as follows:

17 Main St. from west City limits to "B" St. 40 MPH
Main St. from "B" St. to Prospect Ave. 30 MPH
18 Main St. from Prospect Ave. to Bryan Ave. 40 MPH
Bryan Ave. from Main St. to Browning Ave. 40 MPH
lg Bryan Ave. from Browning Ave. to Myford Rd. 45 MPH
20 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, held on the 4th day of October , 1982.

second reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 4th
day of October, 1982, by the following vote:
