HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 93-16 1 4 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 19 9O 21 23 25 RESOLUTION NO. 93-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE ATTACHED IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS(S) TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Tustin desires to implement the transportation improvements listed in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein; WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; WHEREAS, the City of Tustin will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual: WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Tustin hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's applications or other lead agencies' applications to said authority from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs. Said funds shall be matched by funds from the City of Tustin as required and shall be used to aid the City in the improvement of the following streets set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
