RESOLUTION NO. RDA 92-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
DESIGN REVIEW 92-037 AUTHORIZING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 16,000 SQUARE FOOT
GYMNASIUM AND RELATED SITE IMPROVEMENTS ON THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14632 PROSPECT AVENUE,
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin does
hereby resolve as follows:
I.
The Redevelopment Agency finds and determines as
follows:
A.
Pursuant to the adopted Town Center
Redevelopment Plan, the Redevelopment Agency
shall approve all site plans and architectural
designs of any project proposed within the
Redevelopment Agency Project Area.
B.
That a proper application, Design Review 92-
037, has been filed by the City of Tustin
Community Services Department requesting
authorization to construct a new 16,000 square
foot gymnasium and related site improvements
on the property located at 14632 Prospect
Avenue.
C.
That the Planning Commission has recommended
to the Redevelopment Agency approval of Design
Review 92-037 by adopting Resolution No. 3074,
at their meeting held on August 24, 1992.
D.
Pursuant to Section 9272 of the Tustin
Municipal Code, the Redevelopment Agency finds
that the location, size, architectural
features and general appearance of the
proposed development will not impair the
orderly and harmonious development of the
area, the present or future development
therein, or the occupancy as a whole. In
making such findings, the Redevelopment Agency
has considered at least the following items:

Height, bulk and area of buildings.
Setbacks and site planning.
Exterior materials and colors.
Type and pitch of roofs.
Towers, roof structures, doors and
windows.
Landscaping, parking area design and
traffic circulation.

Location, height and standards of
exterior illumination.
Relationship of proposed structures to
existing adjacent uses.
Appearance and design relationship of
proposed structures to existing
structures and possible future structures
in the neighborhood.
Development guidelines and criteria as
adopted by the City Council.
E.
The project is covered by previously certified
EIR 88-2 for the Second Amendment to the
Amended Redevelopment Plan for the Town Center
Redevelopment.project area.
II.
The Redevelopment Agency conditionally approves
Design Review No. 92-037 authorizing the
construction of a new 16,000 square foot gymnasium
and related site improvements on the property
located at 14632 Prospect Avenue, subject to all
conditions contained in Exhibit A of Planning
Commission Resolution No. 3074, incorporated herein
by reference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Tustin at a regular meeting held on the 8th day
of September, 1992.

Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby certify
