A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ANANEXING TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN
CERTAIN TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DESIGNATED
IRVINE-ELIZABETH ANNEXATION NO. 76
4 The C[t~' Council of the City of Tu.~t.in, California,
5',. does hereby resolve as fol.!ows:
1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Gover~ent Code
of the State of California, application was made to the Local
Agency Fo~ation Co~ission to annex to the City of Tustin all
that territory situated in the County of Orange, State of Calif-
8~:. ornia, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
[. herein by this reference as though set forth herein in full.
2. The Local Agency Fo~ation Co~ission, in session
10J duly asse~led, on October 11, 1972, did approve said proposed
~' annexation and authorize the City Council to annex said territory
11[~ without notice, hearing or election.
3. All of the Or, hers of land within the territory
[~ proposed to be annexed have given their written consent to the
13'{ annexation of said territory to th~ City of Tustin.
14[: 4. The City Council desires to annex said territory
[~ to the City of Tustin for the following reasons: The territo~
15~ is contiguous to the City of Tustin and its proposed annexation
(. will contribute to and facilitate the orderly growth and develop-
16. ment of both the City and the territo=y proposed to be annexed,
~. will facilitate and contribute to the ~roper and orderly layout,
17~ desian and construction of streets, gutters, sidewalks and sanitar~
h and sto~-water sewers and drainage facilities, both in the
18~: City and in the territory proposed to be annexed, and will pro-
,~ vide and facilitate proper over-all planning and zoning of lands
19[ in said City and in said territory, in a manner most conducive
to the welfare of the City and said uninhabited territory.

['. 5. The written consent of the o~ners of more ~an
21': two-thirds of the value of the territory o.f the subject annexation
~ has been hereto filed with the City Clerk, aqreeinq and con-
22~ senting to pay indebtedness and li~ility of the c~ty contracted
~ ~ prior to, or existing at, the time of the annexation.
[ 6. The City Council of the Cihy of Tustin does hereby
2~ approve the annexation of the territory hereinabove described to
the City of Tustin, and does hereby further resolve that the
25 ~ said territory be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin,
effective upon the date of the filing of the certified copy of
26[ this Resolution with the Secretary of State of the State of
,. California.

7. The property within the annexed territorl/ shall be
28 taxed to pay the indebtedness and liability of the City
contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation.

8. The City Clerk of the City of Tushin is hereby
30 directed without delay to transmit to the Secretary of State of
the State of California, a certified copy of this P. esolution.

Beginning at a point in the existing boundary of the City of
Tustin, California, as established by the Redhill Center Annexation per
Ordinance No. 296, passed ~-nd adopted Decem/~er 6, 1965, said point being
distant S. 49o57'40'' E., 825.42 feet and N. 39°56'51'' E., 301.94 feet
from the westerly corner of Block 13, Irvine's Subdivision as per map
recorded in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, said point also being a point located on the south-
easterly boundary of and located 66.00 feet southwesterly from the most
easterly corner of Parcel 2 of a Parcel Map recorded in Book 9, page 16
of Parcel Maps, Records of Orange County, California, said point also
being located at the most northerly corner of Parcel 1 as described
in a deed recorded in' Book 9795, page 901 of Deeds, Official Records
of said Orange County;
Thence, leavin~ said Parcel No. 2 boundary and said City of
Tustin boundary, S. 49u57'40'' E., along the northeasterly line of said
Parcel 1, a distance of 165.00 feet, to the most easterly corner of
said Parcel 1, said corner also being a point on the southeasterly
line Of the southeasterly half of the northwesterly half of the
southeasterly half of Lot 331, Block 13, Irvine's Subdivision, as per
map recorded in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County;
Thence, S. 39°56'51'' W., along the southeasterly line of said
Parcel 1 and along said southeasterly line of the southeasterly half
of the northwesterly half of the southeasterly half of said Lot 331,
'.a distance of 134.00 feet, to an angle point in the existing easterly
boundary of said City of Tustin as established by previously mentioned
annexation;
Thence, N. 49o57'40'' W., along said city boundary, a distance of
165.00 feet, to an angle point in said city boundary and a point on
the southeasterly boundary of Parcel No. 1 of previously mentioned
Parcel Map;
Thence, N. 39°56'51" E., along the southeasterly boundary of
Parcels 1 and 2 of said Parcel Map and along said city boundary,
a distance of 134.00 feet to the point of beginning.
