RDA 78-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO SELL PROPERTY ON NEWPORT AVENUE AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the widening of Newport Avenue has been completed; and WHEREAS, the hereinafter described property was acquired by the Com- munity Redevelopment Agency as part of a parcel of land designated as A.P. # 103- 292-25 along the easterly side of Newport Avenue for street widening, the whole of which was purchased in order to avoid excessive severance damages; and WHEREAS, the parcel of land described as the southerly half of Lot 12 in Block "B" of "Martin's Addition to the Town of Tustin City," as per map thereof recorded in Book 18, page 79, of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, excepting therefrom the northwesterly 20.00 feet thereof was not required for the Newport Avenue widening project; NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin, California resolves as follows: I. It appears that the property described as southerly half of Lot 12 in Block "B" of "Martin's Addition to the Town of Tustin", as per map recorded in Book 19, page 79, of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, excepting therefrom the northwesterly 20.00 feet thereof is unnecessary for any present or prospective public purposes. 2. It is proposed that said property be sold as excess, unused, and unneeded land. 3. The proposed action is declared as qualified as a Categorical Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act. 4. A public hearing is hereby set for August 21, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chamber of the City Council at Centennial Way and Main Street, Tustin, California, for hearing all persons interested in being heard or objecting to the proposed sale. 5. A copy of this resolution shall be published once a week for two weeks in the Tustin News, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Tustin, not less than fifteen (15) days before said hearing, and notice of said hearing shall be posted conspicuously along the line of the portion of said property proposed to be sold not less than ten (10) days before said hearing, and not less than three (3) copies shall be posted. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Community Redevel- opment Agency held on the 17th day of July, 1978.
