THIS PROJECT IS CONSIDERED MINISTERIALLY EXEMPT
PURSUANT TO SECTION 15268(b) OF THE CALIFORNIA
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT
AUTHORIZATION TO SUBDIVIDE A SINGLE DEVELOPED
PARCEL INTO THREE NUMBERED AND ONE LETTERED TWO
PARCELS.
Recommendation - It is recommended that the Planning Commission
adopt Resolution No. 3409 recommending to the City Council approval
of Final Parcel Map 95-115, as submitted or revised.
Commissioner Bone moved, Vandaveer seconded, to approve the Consent
Calendar. Motion carried 5-0.

TO CHANGE THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION
FROM "MILITARY" TO "INDUSTRIAL";
Recommendation - It is recommended that the Planning Commission
take the following actions: 1. Certify the Negative Declaration
as adequate for the project by adopting Resolution No. 3404, as
submitted or revised; 2. Recommend to the City Council approval
of General Plan Amendment 95-001 by adopting Resolution No. 3405,
as submitted or revised; and 3. Table further consideration of
Conditional Use Permit 95-017 and Design Review 95-035 as requested
by the applicant.

Commissioner Vandaveer moved, Bone seconded, to certify the
Negative Declaration as adequate for the project by adopting
Resolution No. 3404 as submitted. Motion carried 5-0.

Commissioner Vandaveer moved, Bone seconded, to recommend to the
City Council approval of General Plan Amendment 95-001 by adopting
Resolution No. 3405 as submitted. Motion carried 5-0.
Commissioner Vandaveer moved, Lunn seconded, to table further
consideration of Conditional Use Permit 95-017 and Design Review
95-035 as requested by the applicant. Motion carried 5-0.
REGULAR BUSINESS=
4. Status Reports
Commissioner Bone inquired about the listing for the Tustin Brewery
Company stating that one of the addresses listed was a bank. He
also asked if this project was going to come about.
Staff will check on the correctness of the listed address and
stated that the project was scheduled to come before the Commission
soon.
Commissioner Vandaveer moved, Lunn seconded to receive and file
this report. Motion carried 5-0.
STAFF CONCERNS=
So
Report on Actions taken at the November 20, 1995 City Council
Meeting.
Staff reported on the subject agenda.
Commissioner Bone asked which of the Irvine Company proposals was
finally selected concerning the high school site zone change.
Staff stated that there were changes made up to the last minute and
the selection was actually a blend of proposals 3 and 4. Staff will
FAX this information to Commissioners Bone and Mitzman tomorrow.
6. Second Planning Commission Meeting in December
Commissioner Bone moved, Lunn seconded, not to hold the
Planning Commission meeting scheduled for December 27, 1995.
Motion carried 5-0.

Inquired as to why it took John Connelly two months to
get his Design Review project back to the City Council.
Staff stated the applicant deferred applying until
that time.
Noted that Tustin Pride will be out looking at holiday
lights on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December.

Commissioner Kasalek
Asked what happened to the Community Service Organization
sign project.
Staff reported that they have been gathering information
from other cities and preparing designs to present to the
Committee when it meets in the near future.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Vandaveer moved, Lunn seconded, to adjourn the meeting
at 7:L6 p.m. Motion carried 5-0.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission is
on December 11, 1995 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers at 300 Centennial Way, Tustin.
