RECOMMENDATION

Presentation: Scott Reekstin, Senior Planner
The Public Hearing opened at 10:32 a.m.
The Acting Zoning Administrator indicated that he had reviewed the staff report and
believed that the project was well designed and appropriate for the site as conditioned.
The Acting Zoning Administrator asked if there were any questions or comments.
The Assistant City Manager stated that Condition 4.1 did not reflect the agreement
reached with the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) regarding the potential
contamination if the proposed laundry room were to be installed next to the apparatus
bay. Condition 4.1 should be amended to include mitigation of that concern as was
agreed to at a meeting with OCFA last week.
The Acting Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action No. 10-008,
as amended, approving Design Review 10-016.
