Ogdon, Acting Zoning Administrator Edmelynne Huffer, Associate Planner Eloise Harris, Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC MEETING: 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 10-007 - a request to operate a convenience store in conjunction with an existing service station. APPLICANT: ABHISEK JHA PROPERTY OWNER: BP WEST COAST PRODUCTS LLC ARCO LOCATION: 14244 NEWPORT AVENUE ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMP (CLASS A) PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action No. 10-009 approving Conditional Use Permit 10-007. Presentation: Edmelynne Huffer, Associate Planner Zoning Administrator Agenda September 13, 2010 Page 2 The Acting Zoning Administrator explained the process. The Public Hearing opened at 10:34 a.m. The applicant and his father identified themselves for the record. The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the staff report, and asked if the applicant had read and understood the conditions of approval. The applicant answered in the affirmative. The Acting Zoning Administrator asked if the applicant had any questions or concerns. The applicant answered in the negative. His father added compliments to City staff for the excellent service they received during the application process. The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action No. 10-009 approving Conditional Use Permit 10-007. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The Public Hearing closed and the meeting adjourned at 10:38 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
