HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Minutes 03-21-77 MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING CITY OF TUSTIN PLANNING COMMISSION March 21, 1977 A special meeting of the City of Tustin Planning Commission was held on the 21st day of March 1977, at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Centennial Way at Main Street, Tustin, California. The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chairman Glenn. ROLL CALL Present: Absent: Others Present: Commissioners: Glenn, McHarris, Lathrop. Commissioners: Hill, Robbins R. Kenneth Fleagle, Assistant City Administrator, Community Development Director Alan Warren, Planning Technician Use Permit 76-30 - On application of Soda Shoppes of California, 14192 Newport Avenue, authorized a pole sign 45 square feet per face at a height of 14 feet. Mr. Warren presented the background and minutes of the previous action of the Commission December 13, 1976, related to the application for a pole sign. After some discussion with the applicants it was moved by McHarris, seconded by ~athrop to approve the basic design wit~--a l~'~a~m~m height, with minimum ground clearance of 8 1/2' and zero space between sign areas, making one sign Sign area to be 5' X 6' for Pop Shoppe and 2' X 6' for Donut Shop. Motion Carried: 3-0 Absent: Robbins, Hill. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned to the next regular meeting at 6:05 p.m.
