I ORDINANCE NO. 736
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY
TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY
WITHIN TIE CITY OF TUSTIN AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE
NECESSARY TO CARRY ON TIlE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID
CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1977-78.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as follows:
~ Section 1: ~at it is hereby determined and declared by the
City Council of the City of Tustin that the sum of $5,965,838.0~
~ is the amount of revenue necessary to be raised in order to carry on the
various departments of the City of Tustin for the fiscal year 1977-78.

Section 2: That of said sum of $5,965,838.00 , it is
~0 anticipated that there will be received, as income from various sources
other than through property tax levy, the sum of $4. 753~ 718.00 and
~1 that it will be necessary to raise the sum of $i ,212', 120 o00 by tax
levy upon the property within the City of Tustin.
Section 3: That in addition to said sum, the sum of $121,600.00
is the revenue necessary to be raised to meet the debt service expense of
the 1971 Park Bonds and that it will be necessary to raise that sum by
separate tax levy upon the property within the City of Tustin.
Section 4: That in addition to said sum, the sum'of $87,500.00
is the revenue necessary to be raised ro meet the debt service expense of
the Civic Center Bonds and that it will be necessary to raise that sumby
separate tax levy upon the property within the City of Tustin.
Section 5: Of the amount budgeted for street construction and
18 traffic signals, $396,300 will be paid from the Special Gas Tax Funds, and
$122,800 from the City General Fund.

Section 6: Of the amount budgeted for the repair and maintenance
20 of City streets, traffic signals, and traffic signs, $148,025 will be
paid from Special Gas Tax Funds, $115,000 from the Traffic Safety Fund,
~1 and $45,130 from the City Beautification Fund.
Section 7: That the City Council hereby finds and determines
that the enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency, urgency measure
is required for the preservation of public health and welfare, and this
Ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City
Council, held on the 15th day of August , 1977.
