ORDINANCE NO. 699
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
157, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 654, SPECIFYING THAT
CERTAIN SENSITIVE USES SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE REQUIRE-
MENT OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN THE C-1 DISTRICT,
C-2 DISTRICT, C-3 DISTRICT AND THE CG DISTRICT

follows: The. City Council of the City of Tustln, California does ordain as
Section l.
Section 4.7 of Ordinance No. 157 Column 2, Paragraph 5 is. amended
to read as follows: '
[aunderettes, mortuaries, theaters, massage establishments,
figure model studios adult book stores and other uses
which in the opinion of the Planning Commission, are of
similar nature.-

Section 4.8 of Ordinance No. 157 Column 2, Paragraph 5 is amended
· to read as follows:
Animal hospitals, auto repair shopS, drive-in est. abliSh=
merits when of a type of use indicated, cleaning and dying
establishments, laundrys, launderettes, second-hand sales,
outdoor markets, outdoor sales establishments, pet shops·
motels, hotels, massage establishments, fi2ure model studios,
adult book stores· rest homes, public garages, used car
sales lots, and other uses which in the opinion of the
Planning Commission are of a similar nature.

Section 4'.9 of Ordinance No. 157, Column 2 Paragraph 6 is amended
read as follows: '
Outdoor sales establishments, second-hand sales, motels,
massage establishments, figure model studios, adult book
stores, light manufacturing, including manufacturing of
clothing, novelties, and toys and uses which in the
opinion of the Planning Commission are of similar nature.
Section 4.
Section 4.91.2 of Ordinance No. 654 is amended to read a~ follows:
.2 Permitted uses subject to use permit·
The following additional uses are permitted in the CG
District subject to approval of a use permit:
.21 Amusement and recreation facilities.
.22 Any development in excess of five (5) acres in total
parcel space.

certify that the whole number of members. of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that the' above and foregoing
Ordinance No. 699 was duly and regularly introduced and-
read at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
20th day'of October , 1976 and was given its second
reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 1st day of November 1976, by-the
following vote:
