RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Approve Amendment No. 2 to a Consultant Services Agreement for Tustin Legacy backbone
infrastructure between the City and Hunsaker & Associates, increasing the not to exceed
amount by $282,800 to $622,750, and authorize the City Manager to execute the document

Tustin Legacy agreements for professional consulting services, including pending approvals, is
attached for reference.
DISCUSSION
On September 7, 2010, the City Council approved a Consultant Services Agreement with
Hunsaker & Associates to provide engineering services at Tustin Legacy related to the City's
Disposition Strategy and Business Plan, aerial mapping, and improvements related to Tustin
Ranch Road and Valencia Avenue. On November 2, 2010, the City Council approved
Amendment No. 1 to the Consultant Services Agreement for engineering services related to
preparation of a final tract map for conveyance purposes. Subsequently, the City requested and
received a proposal for additional engineering services, specifically related to changes to the
Tustin Ranch Road graded area, wall alternatives, preparation of the SWPPP, and Park Avenue
and Legacy Road improvements, from Hunsaker & Associates based upon its familiarity and
experience with the work required. Due to its vast knowledge of the project and its current
working relationship with the City, Hunsaker & Associates was determined to be the most
qualified to provide the required services at this time.
