CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 10-013 - a request to establish and operate a chiropractic office fronting EI Camino Real and located within the Old Town Commercial General Plan land use designation. APPLICANT: ANDY TAKAGI ALAKAI CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC PROPERTY OWNER: WILLIAM R. ZAPPAS LOCATION: 694 EL CAMINO REAL ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT (CLASS 11) PURSUANT TO SECTION 15311 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action No. 11-002 approving Conditional Use Permit 10-013. Presentation: Ryan Swiontek, Associate Planner Zoning Administrator Agenda March 7, 2011 Page 2 The meeting opened at 10:31 a.m. The Acting Zoning Administrator asked the attendee to introduce himself. Applicant Andy Takagi from the Alakai Chiropractic Clinic was present. The Acting Zoning Administrator explained the process, reviewed the report, and asked the applicant if he had any questions or concerns. Mr. Takagi indicated he had read the report and there were no questions or concerns. The Acting Zoning Administrator stated there is no parking impact, that the proposed chiropractic office is consistent with other retail uses and will have a good impact on the center. The Acting Zoning Administrator informed Mr. Takagi to contact the City if office hours were to change. The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action No. 11-002 with conditions identified in Exhibit A, approving Conditional Use Permit 10-013 The meeting adjourned at 10:36 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
