1 ORDINANCE NO 684
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
T'USTIN, CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE TUSTIN SIGN CODE
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California does
4 ordain as follows:
5 1. The City Council finds and determines:
6 a) That proceedings were regularly initiated for
adoption of the Tustin Sign Code.
b) That the Planning ComMission duly'called, noticed
8 and held a public hearing as required by law. and
did recommend amendments to the Sign Ordinance.
c) That the City Council regularly called, noticed
10 and held public hearings on a sign code for the
City of Tustin.

d) That the adoption of a sign code. is in the best
12 interest of the residents and business community
of the City of Tustin, and said code.should be
13 adopted.
14 e) That the sign code as proposed and adopted would
not have a significant effect on the environment
15 and is therefore granted a negative environmental
impact declaration.

2. There is hereby adopted by the City Council. of the
17 City of Tustin, California, for the purpose o~ pre-
scribing regulations for the installation, maintenance,
18 alteration and repair'of signs and the inspection
thereof in the City of Tustin, that certain code
19 known as ',THE TUSTIN SIGN CODE". and the whole thereof,
of which not less than three copies have been and now
Z0 are filed in the Office of the City Clerk of the City
of Tustin, California, and the same is hereby adopted
21 and incorporated herein by this reference as though
set forth in full.

cer'tify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that thu above and foregoing
Ordinance No. 684 was duly and regularly introduced and
read at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
16th day'of August , 1976 and was given its second
reading a~d duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 7th day of September .1976, by the
following vote:
