ORDINANCE NO. 673
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE TO REVISE THE
3 MEMBERSHIP OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
The City Council of the City 'of Tustin, California;
does hereby ordain as follows: -
1~. Section 2-!8 of the Tustin City Code is hereby
amended to rea~ as follows:

Section 2-18 Created; Compositi.on; Appointment; Terms
9 .... ~f Members; Vacancies and Removal
10 There is hereby created a Parks and
Recreation Commission of the City.- Such Con~nission
11. shall consist of seven (7) members and may include
a high school student of the Tustin Unified School
'1,2 District and 'one (1) member of the Board of Trustees
of the Tustin Unified Schbol District. Members of the
13 Commission shall be appointed by the City Council.
' CommissiOners--shall' be residents of the City with the
14 exception of the member of the Board of the Tustin
Unified School District'. The terms of office. shall be
15 two (2) years running from January 1 through December
31 of the following year. Three (3) Commissioners
16 shall have terms beginning January 1 of even years and
four (4) Cormmissioners shall have terms beginning
17 January 1 of odd years. Vacancies shall be filled
by the City Council for the unexpired portion of the
18 - term of 'such vacant position." Commissioners shall
serve at the pleasure of the City Council..
A quorum shall be a majority of the
,20 Commissioners who have been appointed~
21 PASSED AND ADOPTED at! a reular meeting of the City
22 Council, of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 2nd day of February, 1976.

of the City of Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing
Ordinance No. 673 was duly and regularly introduced and
read at a regular meetfng of the City Council held on the
19th day'of January ., 1976 and was given its second
~eading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 2nd day of February 1976, by the
following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE
