Mr. Lewis Baldwin, representing Horace J. Stevens, pre- sented a Petition in opposition to the Variance bearing the signat~es of three property o~;e~s within 300 feet of the property for which a Vari~ce is requested. The Commission was addressed by Mr. Jo~ Polled representing Mr. ~d Mrs. Satterfield and by :~. B~awin representing Mr. Stevens. The matter was again discussed by the Com- m~ ~sion members. Upon mot, lea of Comm_~s,ioner Tsdlock, seconded by Commissioner Hardy and duly carried, the request for Vnrl- a~,ce wa~s held over for further considerntion ntn :,.eetlng oi the ~omm~sslon to be held at the City ~:all on June 6, 1953, at 7:00 o'clock P. :.~. Tract No. 1900 as submitted by the Orsn~e Cou~/ty Planning ~ommiss~on was presented by Chairman Bacon. Com- ..-.Issl oner Siegel stated that there is local opposition, to ~his request fo.- Variance. Attorney Lissom was requested t~) prepare a Resolution ~d to present ~t at a -~earing of the Or~;e County Plying Co~ssion to be held on J~me ~O, 19.~3, o"nosln~ the construction of the proposed type of houses i'~ this neighborhood, not~ng that the lots and houses are considered too small ~d not In confo~ity w~th the general pl~ of development ce t hat area. The Clerk was instructed to request a copy of the Oraage County Zoning Ordinance fro:", the County Plsrm:n~' Commi ss!on. '.-he Oomnission discussed the feasibility of amend- ing the present Zoning Ordinance No. 71 ~n cadet to more nearly comply with present conditlons and Tustin Zoning Hequire~en~:s. ~e matter of add~-tionsl copies of the present Zon- in~ Map amd Text of Ordln~nce No. 71 was discussed.
