MEMBERS ABSENT: ;~.essrs. Siegel, Means, Byrd and Saguaros. ATTOPC;EY: C. Arthur ~isson, Jr., was present. Chairman Miller called the meeting to order at M~nutes of the previous meeting were read mud approved. Chairman Miller announced that this meeting was called as a public hearing to consider an Application for Variance by C. F. Chancy, of 13~92 Gershon Place, Santa Ann, Calif., for permission to reduce the roar yard requirement from 20 feet to 4 feet on the West side of the apartment building proposed to be built on tho West 89 feet of Lots 5 and 6, Block 7, Tustin C~ty Trac~. Chairman Miller z0ead the above Application for Vari- ance to the Co~mission members. Approval of Building Inspector George A. Broomell to the plans presented for the proposed apartment building was read by Chairman Miller. The above aoplication was then discussed by the Co~- mission members and questions answered by Mr. Chaney. On motion of Com:uissioner Gray, seconded by Commis- sioner Fsrnsworth and carried by voice vote, a Resolution approving the Variance and Setback Requirements as re- quested was unanimously approved. After discussion by the Council it was determined that the Car Port feature is not in violation. Attorney Nisson reported on th~ conditions existing in regard to constructio~ of units of Dream Homes, Inc., between Main and Second Streets and Pasadena ~ud ~yrtle Streets. Investigation is being continued by Attorney Nisson who is to report at a later meeting. Mr. Nisson was instructed to proceed with negotia- tions with n. L. Bryan, builder of Dre~a Homes, Inc., to install sidewalks and curbs. The Co~mission authorized Attorney Nisson to write Mr. O. V. Dart expressing appreciation of his cleaning up his First Stre~,t property according to ~his promise to the ~om~mission. Chairman Miller requested permission to purchase necessary supolies for use of the Co~mmlssions Secretary. On notion of ~o~missioner Farnsworthm seconded by Commis- sioner Bacon mud carried, permission was granted. The meeting was adjo.~rned on motion of Co~missioner Gray, seconded by Commissioner P'arnsworth and duly car- ried. Secretary.
