Meeting called to order by Chairman Miller at 7:30 P. M. Members Present: Gray, Byrd, ~;iller, Means, Sagraves, Q~Ainn and Farnsworth. ..~inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Chairman Miller read an application submitted by John A. Prescott requesting that the Tustin Planning Zone ~,lap be amended to change four lots i~os. 3, ~, 5 and 6, Block A, Tract No. 3, in the City of Tustin, from C-1 Zone to ;~eans moved that a Hesolution be adopted recommending that the zone restrictions of the four lots be changed from C-1 to C-2. Motion was seconded by Sagraves. Motion carried. Vhairman ~iller reported that the B ~ Y Housemovers were moving equipment from the Dart property on First Street in compliance with an order from ~e Planning Commission. City Attorney i~isson submitted a Subdivision Ordinance of which parts were read to the members ~ discussed. Gray moved tha~ the Ordinance be submitted to the City Council along with a recommendation from the Commission for its adoption. ~otio~ seconded by Farnsworth. ~otion carried. The Planning ~o~mission instructed City Attorney Nis- son to investigate the report of the sale of the Folkner property and to ascertain whether the purchaser was aware of the non-conformities of the property to the City Zoning map, and of the changes that were to be complied with as ordered by the Planning Co~aission. Chairman Miller Do~nt~d out the need for a City Or- dinance governing the construction of cur~s and driveways. After some discussion Or~y moved that such an Ordinance be drafted by the City Attorney. J~e~us seconded ..he mo- tion. ~otion carried. Sagraves moved that the co~-,ission recommend that a clerk be hired for the Planning Co~muission and a budget be prepared. Farnsworth seconded the motion. Motion car- ried. It was noted that several terms of the Commission members nad or were about to expire and the following n~mes were submitted as nominees to fill the vacancies. ~.oster 'White, Albert ?a~rnswo~th~ Lee ~yrd, W~lziam H. Gray, Frank Bacon, Arthur Par~, Jo~u a. Froscott, John A. Siegel, Louis Tadlock. ~eans moved that the names be handed over to the City Council from which to make appointments to fill the vacancies.
