As first order of business members discussed application
by Dr. Lester Blount for Variance to build medical offices on
property located on !,'irst Street, between ~orth Pasadena and
~yrtle Streets.
Following the reading of the application by Chairman
Miller, City Attorney ~isson read a petition favoring the
granting of the Variance signed by residents in the immediate
area of the property in question. Pollowin~ discussion Gray
moved that the Variance be granted. Seconded by Bacon. Motion
carried.
City Attorney Nisson presented for review by the Oocz~is-
sion, a Subdivision Ordinance, preparatory to drawing up such
~ Ordinance for the City of Tustin. :.'o!lowing review Byrd
moved that the Ordinance be rettu~ned to the City Attorney
for revision and to be presented at tho next meeting of the
Commission. The motion was seconded by Sagraves. Motion car-
ried.
City Attorney i~isson reported to the -~embers that he had
conferred with the County Planning Commission on the matter
of recommendations by the Tustin Plarnuing Co~mmL~ sion to tho
County Planning Commission on County Variances on property
within the one mile radius of the City limits of Tustin. In
i~ view of the inadvisability of calling a special meeting
of the Tustin Co~uission to act in such cases and the in-
efficiency of contacting each member of the Commission,
Sagraves moved that Cnalrman Miller be empowered to appoint
a Committee with Miller as Chairman to act in County Vari-
ance cases. Bacon seconded the motion. Motion carried. Two
members appointed to serve on the Committee are Lee Byrd
and A. L. Farnsworth.
Gray moved to adjourn. Seconded by Bacon. ;.leeting ad-
