T~STIN, HELD ON JUNE 19, 1950.
MF~,~S PRESENT: Bacon, Means, Quinn, Byrd, Gray,
Miller, Sat~raves and Farnsworth.
ABS~T: Comnissioner Forney.
Chairman Miller oalled the Co..~_ission Meeting to
order and by co~uon consent ~Ae reading of the minutes
of the previous meeting were dispensed with.
Engineer Larry Golden presented a tentative map of
Tract No. l~61 to t he Comnission, requesting that the
Commission direct City Engineer McBride to approve said
map for the Planning Commission. Discussion of the pro-
posed tract followed, and thereafter it was moved that
a Resolution be drawn directiz~; City E~gineer 2cBride to
sign approval of the Te~ct Map. Said approval of City
'~._~gineer McBride was to be specifically subject to
McMride,s aporoval of a profile map, road construction
plan and specifications to be presented him by ~dr. Jolden
before signing said tentative Tract Map. Said standards
and specifications were to be in accordance with County
Standards and Specifications. Said motion was duly sec-
onded and carried.
~t was further ~oved that the Secretary convey to
the City Council the recommendation of the Planning Com-
mission tha~ ~he City Council not accept the street pro-
vided for in Tract No. 1~61 for dedication to public pur-
poses until the improvementa to be placed on said Tract
included fou~ foot sidewalks and standard curbs along
said street. ~otion duly seconded an~ carried.
On common consent the Planning Cor~Alssion directed
the Secretary to ~equest the City Co,~cil to have the
City Attorney prepare a tentative ~ubdivlaion Jrdinance
for discussion a~xd study as it was believed that the City
should have such an Ordin~uce to facilitate the handling
and processin!~ of any tract projects which mi~t be pro-
posed within the City, or adjacent thereto, in the future.
7here being no further busines.' to come before the
meeting the meeting was adjourned on motion of Co~mis-
sioner :;ray, duly seconded and carried.
