Joe OJeda, representing Jesse JJoda, presented a
petition signed by so.me residents no~ tho property
in c~estion and others from Tustin an:~ surrourodin~
cXttos and co~uunlties.
1,eroy Lion, who stated that ne had been retained ss
counsel by residents in the South ~ast portion of
the Tustin area cmme before the meeting to report
that a ~etitlorx was ,eing ctrc~lated to be presented
to t~e ~mAnty Planning Commission in request that
the property ~emain at its i~-4 status.
Voicing the thoughL that a considerable po:.tion of
property in tho City of Tustin z:~ned for business
is not ~=proved ~u~d that a tendenct for business to
locate away from the Yustin ih~siness District, yet
w~thln the area, would be aetrlnental to the City,
