~?~e meeting was called to order by Chairman Charle-
ton st 7:20 P. ~.
~e~bers present were: Charleton, Farnsworth, Byrd,
Bacon, Forney and Kidd.
Minutes of the preceeding meeting were apprsved as
read.
Messrs. Hey Lewis and Floyd Blower were present in
connection with Application No. 1452 for a Use Permit of
the County of Orange, seekin~ permission to establish a
Funeral Parlor 235 feet West of 5~stin Avenue, on the
North side of First Street. '~h.e matter cane before the
Planning Co~mission of the City of Tustin as the proposed
location is within ~ne :~le of the city limits of the
City of t~Astin.
~he business was proposed to be conducted under the
name of "Blower Brothers Zortuary," Post ~ffice Box 14~13,
Santa And, Califo~nia, main buildin~ to be 150 feet back
fro~ the curb line of First Street, with entrance to the
premises from First Street and exit on Fourth Street.
Discussion was had in connection with said application
to the Planning Commission of Orange County. Kidd moved
that the Planning Commission express approval of said
application as proposed. ~eans seconded the notion. Ail
members voted "Aye." City Autorney C. Arthur Nisson, Jr.,
was instructed to write to the County Planning Co~nis-
sion in the action taken by the PlaoJ~ing Commlsion of
tho City of Tustin.
After a brief discussion regarding the onforce:~ent
of the Planning Ordinances, City Attorney C. Arthur
Nisson, Jr., was instructed to prepare a model form of
a?plication for Building ParrOt, which application
would require sufficient information to qualify
conply wfth tho existing building regulations and zon-
ing ordinances enforced in tho City o" Tustin.
The meeting was then adjourned on motion of ~.[eans,
seconded by Farnsworth.
