Meeting called to o~der by Chairman Arthu~ Charleton.
The Co~ssion accepted the resignation of Harold
Rasmussen, requested by letter, as a member of the Plan-
ning Commission. Lee BR-~d was appointed to fill the va-
csulcy.
A request for a Variance was read by Chair~nsa~ Charle-
ton. ~r. Wm. G. Keeler, owner of property located at ]~65
West Second St., expressed his intentions of usin~ a small
20 x 30 ft. building located at above address as a storage
space for merchandise which he sells to cafes, etc. ~e
members of the Commission after discussion of the matter
expressed favorable opinions toward the application and
suggested that Lit. Koeler obtain proper forras of Applica-
tion for Variance from Attorney Nisson and proceed from
there.
Riss Leda Leyman was before the Commission to find
out the proper steps to take to apply for a Variance, also
to receive opinions of the members of the Commission to-
ward installation of a Ceramics ~ Pottery M~uufacturing
Plant in the North extension of tho building located at
N. W. CorneP of 3rd and "D" Streets. After discussion of
type of apparatus to be installed it was su~ostod that
Fire C~_%ef Kidd check as to chances of fire hazard.
Members present at meetin~ were: Charleton, Fricker,
Fa~nsworth, Means, Byrd, Kid~, Forney and Attorney Kisser.
