~ne meeting was called to order by the Chairm~n.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
Present were Messrs. Kidd, Cha~leton, Neff, Fricker,
Nisson, Forney, Means and l!umeston.
The purpose of the Planning Commission was given
by the Chairman for thc benefit of tho public.
Mr. Neff explained the proposed zones briefly, us-
lng .maps and illustrations.
A request was made by the ~"hxstin Lumber Co. and
the Tustin Manufacturing Co. to change the area includ-
ing from "C" Street on the North side of First to and
including property of Tustin Lumber Co., to Zone M-1.
Request was made by Mrs. Prescott to change lots
11 and 12 on the North side of Third Street to C-1.
Suggested by Attorney Nisson that changes be made
in Section 19 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding appli-
cations for Variances and Amendments, namely: that
fees of $10.00 for Variances and $25.00 for Amendments
and all expenses pertainig thereto to be assured by
those making applications.
A Committee of three consisting of Messrs. Nisson,
Neff ~ud Humeston was appointed to investigate the
printing of the Ordinance and maps and report at the
next meeting.
The Secreta~y was requested to ask The News to
print a ~;otice of Second Public Hearing March 17.
