ORDINANCE NO. 661
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
REVENUE NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON
THE THE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN
AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO CARRY ON
THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1975-76
The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as
f
follows:
Section 1: That it is hereby detemined and declared
by the City Council of the Citv of Tustin that the sum of
$4,464,232 is the amount of revenue necessary to b~ raised in order
to carry on the various departments of the City of Tustin for the
fiscal year 1975-76.
Section 2: That of said s~ of $4,464,232it is anticipated
that there will be received, as income from various sources
other that through property tax levy, the s~ of $3,443,725.00
and that it will be necessary to raise the smm of $I,020,507
by tax le~ upon the property within the City of Tustin.
Section 3: That in addition to said sum, the sLm of
$114,834.00 is the revenue necessary to be raised to meet the
debt service expense of the 1971 Park Bonds and that it will be
necessa~ to raise that smm by separate tax levy upon the
property within the City of Tustin.
Section 4: That in addition to said sum, the sum of
$73,358.00 is the revenue necessary to be raised to meet the
debt service expense of the Civic Center Bonds and that it will
be necessary to raise that sum by separate tax levy upon <-he
property within the City of Tustin.
Section 5: Of the aount budgeted for street construction
and traffic signai's, $411,100.00 will be paid from the Special
Gas Tax Funds, and $31,000.00 from the City General Fund.
Section 6: Of the amount budgeted for the repair and
maintenance of City streets, traffic signals, and traffic signs,
$126~786.00 will be paid from Special Gas Tax Funds, $110,000.00
from the Traffic Safety Fund, and $25,320.00 from the City
Beautification Fund.
Section 7: That the City Council hereby. finds and
detemines that t~e enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency,
urgency measure is required for the preservation of p~lic
health and wetfare~ and this Ordinsnce shall go into-effect
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin
City Council, held on the 18th day of August, 1975.
