PUBLIC HEARING:
1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2011-10 - a request for authorization to
establish and operate a yoga studio within a 4,104 square foot tenant space
within Heritage Plaza.

PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF THE
CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT.
RECOMMENDATION
That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 11-
006 approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2011-10 to establish and operate a
yoga studio within an existing tenant space located at 139 W. 1St Street, Suite E.

The Public Hearing opened at 10:37 a.m.
City staff was introduced, and the Zoning Administrator asked the attendees to
introduce themselves.
Joseph Vogt, the applicant, and John Silber and Maryam Zahedi, from Silber
Architects, indicated they were representing Purple Yoga.
Jim Netzer indicated he was representing the Stroscher Heritage Plaza.
Ryan Swiontek presented the staff report.
The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the report, and asked Mr. Vogt if he
understood the conditions of approval.
Mr. Vogt answered in affirmation.
Mr. Silber inquired regarding the 10-day appeal period, and the process for
appeals.
The Acting Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action No.
11-006 approving Conditional Use Permit 2011-10.
The Public Hearing closed at 10:45 a.m.
