There is a need for staff dedicated to the supervision of o customer service both internally and externally. There is a need for redistribution of work and cross o training amongst the Accounting Specialists and Senior Accounting Specialists. Finance Department Reorganization continued…Finance Department Reorganization continued… The Finance Department Reorganization Plan addresses areas of concerns by the following job position changes: The creation of an Accountant position and a Customer o Service Supervisor. Reclassification of the Senior Finance Analyst to an o Administrative Services Manager. The elimination of funding for the Accounting o Supervisor position, one Senior Account Specialist, and on Information Technology Intern. The elimination of the part-time Business License o Technician. Finance Department Reorganization continued…Finance Department Reorganization continued… Due to limited financial resources, this reorganization plan: Helps ensure the Finance Department is efficient and o meeting the City’s financial accountability needs without increasing costs. Ensures work is distributed evenly through cross o training and the addition of the Accountant position. Provide skilled employees opportunities for o advancement.
