HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 3622RESOLUTION NO. 3622 ]4 20 24 26 2'7 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE CODE AMENDMENT 98-004, AN AMENDMENT TO TUSTIN CITY CODE SECTION 9252j2b, CLARIFYING THAT THE RESIDENTIAL SITE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS IN THE CULTURAL RESOURCES OVERLAY DISTRICT ONLY APPLY TO THE CREATION OF NEW LOTS. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: I. The Planning Commission finds and determines: A. That amendments to Tustin City Code Sections 9252j2b related to residential development standards have been prepared. a. That a public hearing was duly noticed, called and held on said application on October 26, 1998 by the Planning Commission. Ce It has been determined that this project would not have a significant effect on the environment and a Negative Declaration has been prepared. Do The proposed amendments are regulatory in nature and would provide consistency with the odginal intention of the Cultural Resources District development standards. i. The proposed amendments are consistent with the General Plan, particularly the Land Use Element by ensuring consistency between the General Plan and the Zoning Code. II. The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council approve amendments to the Tustin City Code as follows: Section 9252j2b shall be revised to read: "(b) Site development standards (al~P!iCabie'to creation of new lots only): (2) Minimum single-family lot size: 10,000 square feet. Minimum multiple-family lot size: 15,000 square feet.
