OPEN SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS
PRESENTATION:
1. APPOINTMENT OF HEARING EXAMINER AND MEETING DATE FOR
APPEAL OF NOTICE AND ORDER AT 520 PACIFIC STREET
APPELLANT: BRET FAIRBANKS, PROPERTY OWNER
Pursuant to Tustin City Code section 8101(0), the City's Building Board of
Appeals consists of five members consisting of the members of the Planning
Commission. The City's Building Official, Henry Huang, serves as the Board's
Secretary. This agenda item is addressed to you in your capacity as the Building
Board of Appeals.
The purpose of this meeting of the Board of Appeals is not to hear or consider
evidence about the merits of the appeals themselves. The purpose of this
meeting is to appoint a hearing examiner and set the hearing date, time and
place as required by the Uniform Housing Code ("UHC") and the Uniform Code
for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings ("UCADB").

ADJOURNMENT:
The next special meeting of the Building Board of Appeals will be held when items are
set for hearing.
Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Planning Commission regarding any item on this
agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Community Development Department located at
300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California, during normal business hours.
