HomeMy WebLinkAbout01 Presentation Historical IntegrityAGENDA REPORT MEETING DATE: JULY 12, 2011 TO: PLANNING COMMISSION FROM: SCOTT REEKSTIN, SENIOR PLANNER SUBJECT: PRESENTATION ON HISTORICAL INTEGRITY ITEM # 1 On June 2, 2011, City staff attended a workshop sponsored by the California Preservation Foundation on the subject of historical integrity. In an effort to provide the Planning Commission with additional historic preservation training, staff will be giving a PowerPoint Presentation and will be available to answer the Commissioners' questions regarding historical integrity. A copy of the PowerPoint Presentation is attached for your review in advance of the July 12, 2011, meeting. Determine ,and the property is significant. Determine the essential factors of integrity it needs to convey it's significance. Determine if it has those aspects of integrity. Properties either retain integrity or they do not. 16
